Looking for ways to replace your file folders in an online format? These 6 individual sorting maps are perfect for young students and elementary students in special education to practice sorting items into categories.  They allow you to assign 1 sorting task to a student as they are ready for them.  
They are perfect for students to practice language concepts at a distance. And with no cutting, laminating or prep, they are great for students to practice in the classroom on a tablet or computer.  

Each mat has 2 categories. Across the 6 digital mats, students sort items of transportation, clothes, food and furniture. The BOOM Cards™️ are self-grading. With a paid subscription it can track students’ performance.
Please note, when you purchase, you will download a pdf that has a link to access the cards/mats. You will then assign the mats from the web platform to your students. You and your students will need to have internet access to use them.

Once they get all of the items sorted, they click submit and the platform gives feedback. It moves incorrect items back to the item holder for students to correct. The students only receive feedback when they have finished the mat and hit submit.

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account.

Directions for construction are included in the file.  Make sure you are opening it with Adobe Acrobat Reader (find it free here) and following the printing instructions included in the download.

If the product is a zip file, you may need to have an app like WinZip to unzip it on a PC.
