Matching words to pictures is a basic reading comprehension skill for functional sight words for students in life skills classrooms. This set of file folders has safety and community signs the students match the word to the signs. They are perfect for practicing words and independent work systems.

From this set you can create:
- 10 notebook pages for a 3-ring binder for students to match OR
- 10 file folder activities with 1 page apiece OR
- 5 file folder activities with 2 pages apiece OR
- 90 task cards with one picture and matching word apiece

You can also create different levels of file folders by either matching words that are all the same font or matching words that are all in different fonts. This helps with generalization.
The file folders are designed to go with my Sight Word Sign Worksheets and Community Sign Task Cards and include the same 60 food words as that set.
