Trying to keep students on-task as the winter holidays approach can be tough!  Plus, aren't you always looking for ways to present the different holidays of the season to students in special education in a way that helps them make sense of others' traditions?

If I described your search this holiday season, then this set of adapted books is exactly what you need.  These books are interactive with visuals to support vocabulary while reviewing different holiday traditions.

What's Included?

5 Interactive Books

  1. Winter Holiday Traditions  This illustrated book focuses on a few key concepts from the different holiday traditions of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.
  2. Celebrating Hanukkah  This illustrated book focuses on the activities of families during Hanukkah.
  3. Celebrating Christmas  This illustrated book concentrates on the activities of many families at Christmas. I’ve chosen to keep it primarily secular, so it does not focus on the religious aspect of Christmas. Instead it focuses on traditions.
  4. Celebrating Kwanzaa  This illustrated book focuses on the activities of families during Kwanzaa.
  5. Celebrating the Winter Holidays This illustrated book targets verbs and depicts the commonalities of the three holidays.
